1. The following are designated for the purposes of the provisions of subparagraphs b to d of the first paragraph of paragraph 1 of section 3 of the Animal Health Protection Act (chapter P-42):
(1)  the following infectious agent: influenza virus, type A;
(2)  the following contagious disease: highly pathogenic avian influenza.
